What do i do if a Visa check fails?

When onboarding an employee and they provide all the required documentation and personal information, when the Visa check is completed and it fail's, status defines No Visa. Below are a list of items to check:

1. Is the data right?
   • Date of birth
   • Document type (passport, immicard etc)
   • Country
   • Document Number
2. If the data is right, is the passport new? What's the date of issue? Then they need to update home affairs with the new passport details; OR
3. Is the passport old? What's the expiry date? Perhaps you have the old passport and Home Affairs has their visa attached to a new passport? Have the emloyee/Contractor provide their new passport or citizenship certificate etc
4. Are you sure they have a visa? If everything above fails, get them to send you the Visa Grant letter, and cross match the data to point 1 (passport number, etc).
