Tanda

TANDA is our most common integration. TANDA is one of Australia's leading Workforce Management platforms, used by the who's who of multi-venue hospitality, retail and beyond.
Our integration with TANDA is web-hook (means real-time communication from TANDA to vSure of events such as new employees and marking staff as inactive) and batch API driven.

Set-ups in TANDA
API Key
Log into TANDA and create an API key on this page:
https://my.tanda.co/api/oauth/access_tokens
Select green button top right of the screen (+ New Token)
The API user needs full access to:
- Qualification: Manage Staff qualifications
- right_to_work: Manage Right To Work Checks
- department: Manage Department Information
- user: Manage information about your employees
- me: Allows us to access the TANDA Company IDs which are needed in the API filtering
Qualifications
We recommend setting up 4 qualifications in TANDA:
- Right To Work - for all work rights including Australian Citizen and Visa holders
- Student Visa - Primary (8105) - allows the employee to be limited to 24 hours per week or 48 hours per fortnight restriction
- Student Visa - Secondary (8104) - allows the employee to be limited to 24 hours per week or 48 hours per fortnight restriction
- Training Visa - Secondary (407) - allows the employee to be limited to 20 hours per week or 40 hours per fortnight restriction
All staff will have a Right to Work Qualification and this can be added to your roster rules (no RTW no work).
The 48 hours per fortnight will apply always for Secondary (no effective dates) and only during semester/term for Primary visa holders (i.e. during Effective Dates applied to the Qualification).
Workflow
Student Visas with the 8105 work condition - Semester/Course Dates (Tanda Effective Dates)
If an employee has supplied there Semester/course dates during the RTW onboarding process in vSure, these dates will now be included in the integration to Tanda and populate the Effective Dates against the Student Visa - Primary (8105) qualification in Tanda.
So when an employee is on semester break the restriction on working hours wont apply outside these semester dates (effective dates in Tanda)
FAQs
What if the employee hasn't provided updated course dates?
Enter the dates of the full year/period ahead into the employees vSure profile, under Course Dates. This will mean when synced to Tanda, the qualification will have future Effective Dates, meaning the qualification will be in play and the hours blocking error/rule, so employee cant be rostered over.
What if the employees Course is complete?
Enter the Course official end date as the end of the course semester date in the employee profile.
