Employee unable to complete Self Onboarding Right to Work form
If employees report that their Employee Self Onboarding form is looping back to the beginning or resetting, it is usually caused by one of vSure’s cyber security protections.
There are 2 main reasons this can happen:
- The form is being accessed from more than one IP address
To protect uploaded documents, access is restricted to a single IP address during the onboarding process. On some mobile phones, features such as IP randomisation can change the IP address while the form is still being completed. When this happens, the system may reset the form.
Workaround: Ask the employee to connect to Wi-Fi or use a different device to complete the form. - An uploaded file has been flagged with a virus signature
If any document or image uploaded during onboarding is detected as having a virus signature, the system will reject the upload and reset the form.
Workaround: Ask the employee to take a screenshot of the original document or image and upload the screenshot instead.
These situations are uncommon, but the protections are necessary to help keep employee data secure.
