Australian Citizen only has Drivers Licence

A common query from Australian Citizens is they only have a Driver licence not a Birth Certificate or Citizenship Certificate. Can they just provide a Drivers Licence?

From a compliance sense, a driver's license alone is not proof of citizenship nor work rights. Being strict on compliance, in order to have obtained a Drivers Licence, some sort of Birth Certificate must have been produced.
